If there seems to be an issue during operation of the CNC, such as it misses a few steps, the problem may be blacklisted commands. These are commands that have been put into the “Regular Expression Pattern Remover” box in UGS.

  1. This box can be located in the Tool Settings at the top of the UGS window.
  2. Go to Options
  3. Open the UGS tab
  4. Finally, the box will be found in the Controller Options. Any commands or codes placed into this box will be skipped or removed when operating the CNC through UGS. For example, if the code "G20" (which interprets values as inches) is typed into the Regular Expression Pattern Remover Box, the values will be interpreted as millimeters instead.

It is best practice that if a code or command is in the box, and it is not a known item it should be deleted to remove further trouble while running the CNC. NOTE: just checking the box of the command has no effect, the codes will need to be manually deleted after checking the box.
