Troubleshooting: Evolution Stepper Motors Travel in the Wrong Direction

                While operating the Evolution and an axis travels the opposite direction from what it should be, could be due to the stepper motors being incorrectly connected. When looking at the controller where the motors are connected, all of the wires should have a blue wire facing the top expect for the X. It will have a red wire facing the top. Before adjusting these wires, it is important to have the power to the CNC unplugged to avoid damage to the controller.

                In most cases this will solve the problem of an axis moving backwards, however if it does not, it could be firmware needs to be reset. To reset the firmware, type $rst=$ into the command text box of the console window in UGS and press "enter".
