BobsCNC products are designed and produced in the USA. We use a combination of imported and domestic components for simple and cost effective kits.

The  RP9 3D printer kit has:​

• 5 ply- Baltic Birch frame. 
• 8mm oil hardened drill rod for linear rails with LM8SUU bearings
• Braided fishing line high grip drive system
• Print volume of 200 mm x 200 mm x 200 mm
• 1.75 mm filament drive with a 0.4 mm nozzle
• 100 to 400 micron layer height

The basic kit includes:

• Designed and manufactured parts which are pre-cut and ready to assemble
• High volume purchased parts to reduce cost.
• An  extruder (0.4 mm nozzle) and feedstock drive gear

The deluxe kit also includes:

• Pre-tested Mega 2650 and Ramps1.4 controller
• Firmware preloaded ( 250,000 buad rate)
• 4 pre-tested stepper motor drivers with heat sinks
• ​LCD display and SD card reader
  
• 5 stepper motors
• Power supply
