The design is an CNC mill cut aluminum frame with an MDF spoil-board.  Some of the current  design parameters are:
  • 18.7" x 13.2" x 3" cutting area with a Dewalt 611 mount
  • SBR12 fully supported rail system
  • high lead ACME screw drive (1/2" per turn on X and Y, and 1/8" per turn on Z)
  • NEMA 23 stepper motors (270 oz-in.)
  • TB6560 4 Axis Controller
  • 24 VDC  power supply
